So the past month at our new house has flown by! Honor is now running. In size 5 sneakers! She's saying good girl, hi, nana, momma, dada, dog, good night ba-ba (bottle) and singing a lot.

Happy Birthday to You!

Thank you Bernie for the beautiful dress from Ireland! She'd digin' the Frock. The Grass... not so much. But I think these came out pretty cute. The neighborhood Ice cream truck kept getting her attention!

Ahhh a bug! Why is there so much green stuff? Where's the pavement? My little City Mouse is having an adjustment period with the country. She thinks grass is icky and bugs are gross. Won't sit on the ground at all. I'm sure for the second birthday, the idea of a white dress will be laughable as she plays in the mud and muck covered in it!
ok so maybe she's not outdoorsie yet, but she has her less than dainty moments too!
But mostly, just a total package of sweetness.
Oh so innocent.

Not even 1 year old for an hour and she learned how to act like a toddler. She knew there was a cake up on that counter and her mean mommy wouldn't let her have it!
See, it's legit, I made it from scratch!

What a wonderful year.

Well, my little lady is just shy of a year. So, what's the little wonder getting for her first birthday you ask? A HOUSE! Thomas, Honor, Shadow & I are in the process of packing up our two bedroom city apartment and moving on to greener pastures. Literally. Friday at 10:00 am we'll be closing on our first house. Saturday and Sunday we'll be moving, and maybe by Honor's first Birthday on Monday, we'll be able to have her crib reassembled and tuck her in to her bed with a tummy full of yummy Birthday cake.

Here are a few new pics of the little monkey at the Arsenal on the Charles, right around the corner from where she has spent her first year.

Walking and talking. She took a few steps at 9 months and for the past 10 weeks,
she's been afraid to let go of the furniture. Last night she took a few passes and
giggled hands-free. Today she's been running around the house like a crazy girl.
