All I want for Christmas is my OTHER front tooth!
Honor cut her first tooth today! She is now 17lbs and 26.25" long! She's still smiling even though she had 2 vaccines today as well. We are truly blessed to have such a happy little girl!!!!

A December to Remember
Honor is now wearing her 6-12 mos. shoes!

She is not really interested in the large green thing in the house, but these shiny silver things are cool.

My Growing Girl.
Little miss Honor is 30 weeks old! She is now sitting up on her own and playing quite nicely with many of her toys. She has grown quite attached to two of her little blankie/stuffed animals, her bunny and her monkey, and looks for them at bed time to snuggle. When Caitlin came over the other night she even played peek-a-boo, unprompted, by pulling the monkey up over her head and dropping it to giggle. She repeated it nearly 20 times, getting a bigger laugh out of us each time!
Her hair is growing in very quickly and she has started sleeping on her tummy at night so the back fills in too. She has said a few words, Mum mum and Dada and we're pretty sure "gee gee" is the doggy.
She has grown out of almost all of the 6 months clothing, wears a lot of 9 month and is even in many 12 month outfits now. It mostly depends on the brand of clothes. Honor has a very long torso just like her daddy. So her 6 month dresses still fit nicely.
She is eating a lot of soft solids now. Her favorites include sweet potato, banana, green beans, avacado and mango. She can also pick up little cereal puff snacks with her pincher fingers and can coordinate getting it to her mouth. She is also easily feeding her self baby cookies & crackers.
Her little legs are so strong that she can stand up in her crib holding on to the railing all by her self. Honor can also move around in her pink walker chair. She is a curious baby who never stops moving. She hasn't managed to crawl yet, but we're expecting that nearly any day now as we watch her do circles on her belly around the kitchen floor.
Tomorrow Honor will be visiting her Dr. for a well visit and to get her flu shots. And on January 8th, she will be going in for a minor day surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Honor has a blocked tear duct and it will need to be opened up to avoid future infections that could damage her vision. All told the procedure will only take about 15 minutes, however it will take her a little while to recover from the anesthesia. They will need to put her out, but I will be sure to update everyone as she recovers.
Honor is looking forward to having all of her American Lucas cousins over for Christmas Eve. And then to spend Christmas day in Lowell with her Nana and Gramps and the Smith and Castoldi families. She also Celebrated the holidays with her Godfather, Erin and Sean on Friday night at a lovely dinner out in Watertown.
